Is that a pencil in my hand?

So I just started taking a drawing class again a couple weeks ago with my stepson Justin. I haven't drawn in forever and figured it would be nice to take a refresher course in the basic techniques. It's been a lot of fun. Today's lesson was shading. This is what I ended up with. I guess it's not too bad for someone who hasn't touched a pencil in years.
