How is there a site that still doesn't secure web transactions

That's right, Tyrobes.com apparently hasn't caught on that credit cards can be stolen online. I tried to order a robe for my fiance recently and as i clicked from one screen to the next, I noticed it wasn't switching to a secure socket layer. What the F**k?? I don't think I've been to a site since 1994 that didn't secure their online purchases. The best is when I called them and explained that I didn't want to make a purchase over their website and the jackass on the phone proceeded to explain to me that online purchases are safe in this day an age. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. I proceeded to expalin to him that i graspped the concept of the web more than they did, since they didn't understand that a site isn't secure just because it's past 1997. Assholes.
