New Years Eve

Tonight I'm going to see the Sheila Divine play a reunion show in Boston. I anticipate a really good time. Even if Aaron(the singer) is an elitist who only likes his nerdy fans that wear glasses and have no sense of fashion, he still does put on a great show. They haven't been together in a couple of years, so it will be great to see them again. They are one of the best local bands from Boston ever in my opinion. Hopefully they are going to play some of the great random covers they became known for. They best play Metal Health or there's a good chance I'll tell Aaron he sucks again. He didn't like that last time.

It's officially Christmas season

How do I know? Because I heard the first sounds of Bono belting out over the airwaves singing "It's Christmas, Baby Please Come Home". When Bono talks, people listen.

Please have a solid point if your going to start an argument.

Who are these people that want to have Christmas trees renamed to holiday trees?? They're offended that Christmas displays are in public spaces and apparently renaming the tree is going to solve the problem. Wouldn't it still be there? Why don't you save everyone else the headache and just call it a holiday tree when you refer to it. Do we really need to make this a pressing issue? Shouldn't we spend more time solving our massive debt, or perhaps fixing the healthcare issues or the social security problems? Perhaps we should figure out a way to get the homeless off the streets. I'd rather my elected officals take care of this than spend time worrying about the name of the tree.

Not to mention, why WOULD we rename? It's a CHRISTMAS TREE because it's a Christmas tradition. It's not a holiday tradition. I know I don't have a tree up for Labor Day or Halloween. If you don't celebrate Christmas, that's perfectly fine, but that's not a reason to rename the tree. What's next, are we going to change the menorah to the Holiday Candelabrum?
