Latest on health care reform

Here's a link to the House bill released today for their proposal for health care reform for anyone interested in reading it. I'm sure it would make a nice bedtime read. I'll give you my assessment of it as soon as I finish reading it. It's only 1990 pages, so it shouldn't take me too long.

New design for a wine label

For my team meeting at work this week, the design challenge was to design our own wine label. I thought I'd do something that removed a bit of the snootiness that is associated with wine and in turn perhaps appeal to a younger crowd that wouldn't feel as intimidated. Plus it's never a bad thing if you can make good use of a skull graphic.

Starbucks VIA

What's the deal with Starbucks VIA? Instant coffee? Really? Don't people go to Starbucks to spend lots of money on worldly coffee and be part of the hipster scene? Is instant coffee now hip? If so, then my mom is way ahead of Starbucks. She's been rocking Folgers for years.
